The American driver switches teams ahead of the 2024 GB3 Championship

American driver Shawn Rashid joins VRD Racing by Arden for his second season of the GB3 Championship

Rashid began his racing career in the National Formula Ford Championship in 2022 before his GB3 debut in 2023 with Douglas Motorsport, gaining two wins and various podiums. This includes a win at the famous Formula Ford Festival, leading to his rookie championship title and transition to GB3.

Having shown great results in off-season winter testing at various locations such as Barcelona, the team have said they are looking forward to working with Rashid this season.

The first official GB3 test will begin at Oulton Park on 5th & 6th March, with the first race beginning on 30th March.
